Claire Goldrick was born in Washington, D.C., raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and currently resides in Colorado. Claire started oil painting long before her teen years, and by age 15, she painted commissioned portraits of her classmates, as well as commissioned paintings of horses, dogs and other animals for horse owners and landscape lovers.
Before leaving Albuquerque, Claire received informal instruction from Wilson Hurley, Arthur Sussman, and others. Her subject matter is diverse, ranging from Lewis & Clark history to landscapes and water scenes, fly-fishing, wildflowers, wildlife, cowboys and ranch life. Claire works primarily in oils and watercolors.
Continuing to exhibit in New Mexico shows and galleries, Claire has won numerous awards and her works now hang in collections worldwide.
