Amy Keller-Rempp is a Mohawk (Haudenosaunee) artist from the Bay of
Quinte/Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Ontario, now based in Fort
McMurray, Alberta. Her work is inspired by wildlife, the northern
landscape and the stories and symbolism that connect people to the
natural world.
Amy's SkyDance collection captures the beauty and movement of the
Northern Lights, often pairing the night sky with wildlife and imagery
carrying deeper meaning. The two works selected by Elizabeth’s Studio,
Legend and Raven, reflect this approach: Legend features the white
buffalo, while Raven draws on the powerful presence and symbolism of
the raven.
Amy’s artwork has grown well beyond original paintings and fine-art
prints. Her designs have been licensed and reproduced on a wide range
of products, including mugs, puzzles, home décor and other merchandise
distributed across Canada and internationally. Her work has also been
featured through corporate and institutional collaborations, public
art projects, murals and large-scale installations, helping introduce
her distinctive imagery to audiences well beyond the traditional
gallery setting.
Amy continues to explore wildlife, colour, light and
Indigenous-inspired storytelling while creating artwork designed to
connect with people in many different forms. Through her collaboration
with Elizabeth’s Studio, her artwork now enters the world of textiles
and fabric design as another way for people to experience and create
with her art.
