Monarch Dance

by Daniel Ramirez, Saginaw Chippewa Descendant

Monarch Dance represents the importance of the Sisterhood of the Fancy Shawl Dancers. The lightness of the dance and its twirls represent a butterfly in flight. It is danced as an expression of renewal and thankfulness for new seasons, new life and new beginnings. Available November-December 2024.
